Whether it's your first BDR or your first time riding off pavement, our team will make sure you're prepared before you head deeper into Montana's backcountry.

The Experience

Day 1: Arrival in Bozeman

  • Airport pickup
  • Meet your new Pan America
  • Bike setup and rider fitment
  • Install luggage and accessories
  • Packing clinic
  • Route overview and GPS setup
  • Welcome dinner

Day 2: The Montana BDR Begins

Kickstands up.

Ride alongside Yellowstone Harley guides as you begin the Montana BDR.

Throughout the day we'll coach you on:

  • Riding gravel and loose terrain
  • Standing position and body movement
  • Reading the trail
  • Cornering techniques
  • Water and fuel management
  • Trail etiquette
  • Trailside problem solving

That evening, we'll camp together.

Dinner is on us.

Around the campfire we'll cover everything from camp setup and cooking to route planning and what to expect on the days ahead.



Day 3: Continue the Journey

Ride another day of the BDR with our guides, building confidence as the terrain changes and your skills grow.

At the end of the second guided day, we'll send you off with everything you need to continue your Montana adventure on your own.

By then, you'll know:

  • How to confidently ride your loaded Pan America
  • How to pack efficiently
  • How to camp comfortably
  • How to navigate the BDR
  • What to do if something doesn't go according to plan

You'll leave with more than a new motorcycle—you'll leave with the confidence to use it.

With the help of the our customization team, you can make your next bike the bike of your dreams, with full customization available from exhaust and seats to a full paint job and crate engine swap.

Once your ride is over, you can choose to either have your new motorcycle kept in Winter Storage for the winter to delivered to your home. Our team is here to make your next buying experience one that will last a lifetime.
